Children’s Groups and Programs

Every Sunday, after the children’s story in the main worship service, children ages 5 through 12 are dismissed to attend their own “worship” where they are given biblical lessons on their level, combined with crafts, stories, games, snacks and more! We have a great group of volunteers who each devote one or two Sundays a month to not only educating the children but creating bonds that will last a lifetime!

Sunday School is held directly after worship and children’s church from 10:30-11:30 am. We have classes for all ages, Nursery-infant to age 4, Pre-K, Kindergarten through 2nd Grade, and 3rd through 5th Grade.

Wednesday Night ReCharge is our intergenerational, mid-week program where we gather in the Fellowship Hall as one family at 5:45 pm for dinner together, then at 6:30 we disperse: adults leaving and going to adult Bible Study, adult Choir Practice, or other church meetings. Youth ascend to their Youth Room for social and educational time with their youth advisors. And the children are divided up into their age groups of Nursery, Kindergarten-2nd Grades, and 3rd-5th Grades for their weekly lessons, crafts, experiment’s and more which exhibit God’s love for us—giving us all that mid-week BOOST we need to help us get through our week! The kids then wrap up the evening with some lively music, which once again sharing the stories of God’s love for each and every one of us!

Vacation Bible School is held each summer in the evenings for typically one week. Every year is a new and exciting theme, with crafts, snacks, games, music and sometimes a special visitor or two. This is a great way for us all, young and old to reconnect with our church family mid-summer as we all have gotten busy and gone our different directions once school is out. Vacation Bible School is for children of all ages, Nursery through 5th Grade. We get the youth involved by asking them to help with nightly skits, help with snacks, crafts, or music. This program is also led by a great group of volunteers who start planning every January for this event to be held in the middle of the summer!
