First Church's Updates

Weekly Update for First Church of the Brethren, June 6, 2025

Romans 8:  16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

The Holy Spirit is perhaps the least known and least understood part of the Trinty.    Maybe –just maybe — that is because we fear what we can not control.    But this scripture makes it plain that there is nothing really to fear in yielding to the Spirit — After all, there’s nothing to fear  in the testimony that we are God’s children!

Also…   A huge THANKS to church secretary Jan Simington for all her work on this her last day before her retirement begins!
