Join Us in Worship
We are so glad you found us! We invite everyone to get to know us as a church community. Please join us at the First Church of the Brethren in Roaring Spring, PA in worship on Sundays at 9:25 am. We are a community of welcome and worship where our people can find peace, purpose, and power through Jesus Christ! Please bring your friends and family. We are a fun-loving group of people of all ages and walks of life who love getting together to worship God. New to the area? Never been to our church before? You will be warmly greeted. We cannot wait to meet you! Please join us throughout the week for any of the activities we offer to our congregation!
Sunday Worship 9:25 am
Sunday School for all ages follows worship at 10:30 am.
Fellowship Time is held following worship the second Sunday of the month except in June, July, and August.
Children’s Church is offered for children Kindergarten through 5th grade during church service.
Adult Choir is open to all singers. No audition necessary! They are not active during the summer months of June, July and August.
A Nursery is available for children 8 weeks to 3 years of age during worship.
Activity Bags appropriate for children 3 years through 2nd grade are available from any Usher.

John 1:29-30
29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! 30 This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’ 31 I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel.”
Maybe, just maybe what John is saying here is that he did not realize WHO and WHAT Jesus really was until he baptized Him and the dove descended, and the voice of God spoke his support.
Evidently John had an epiphany as to who Jesus was. My prayer is that we all have a similar personal experience and sudden realization of just who Jesus is, and that He should be the Lord and Savior of our lives!
