First Church's Updates
Weekly Update for First Church of the Brethren, December 8, 2025
Luke 2:10-11
10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
Birth announcements usually bring “great joy.” News that we don’t need to be afraid anymore usually brings “great joy.” But what brings “great joy” for ALL people? It can only be the arrival of the Christ Child, our Savior, the long-awaited Messiah.
